May I introduce myself
We are Hamburger Kinder Unterwegs (Hamburg Kids on the Go), a family of four consisting of "the eldest" and "the youngest," and "the" dad and mom Karo. We love outings, and I know how much time and stress it takes to organize a proper trip. I've always wanted a website where I could easily find all the information I need at a glance, sorted by direction. And since I haven't found anything like that yet, I created such a site. So that other families can have an easier time.

I am the creative mind behind "Hamburg Kinder Unterwegs" (Hamburg Kids Out & About). My passion lies in planning and organizing leisure activities. You’ll often see me with my phone in hand, either taking photos or filming a new Reel. I find great joy in discovering new places, which is why I’m happy to cycle anywhere from 30 to 70 kilometers in a single day. When I’m not with my children, I love going for hikes or enjoying good food (especially cakes and tarts, those are a sure-fire way to win me over!). I love being out in nature, and sustainability is something very close to my heart. In Human Design, I am a "Generator" with a 1/3 profile, traits that, among other things, signify precision and a spirit of adventure. That says a lot about who I am! ;) Originally from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, I quickly fell in love with what I consider the most beautiful city in the world, and I simply decided to stay. Together with three other colleagues, I founded the collective "Lütt & Los", a hub packed with a wealth of excursion ideas, where you can also regularly find family-friendly events happening across the city. ;) Every destination I share here on my website and across my social media channels has been visited by me personally and deemed worth recommending.
